As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, Skin Proud is putting care back into skincare and supporting mental health issues. For May and beyond, Skin Proud will create a wellness movement that focuses on the relationship between mental health issues and stressed skin. Skin Proud has teamed up with lawyer Bunny Michael and Elyse Fox, founder of the charity Sad Girls Club, to create a skin positivity chatbot to promote positivity, self-care and happiness in the skin. skin.

Skin Proud’s chatbot encourages skin positivity
The bot will target any Twitter posts that use negative words about skin care and skin stress, and provide advice and tips from two mental health advocates: non-binary mental health writer Bunny Michael and Sad Girls Club founder and attorney Elyse Fox. Bunny and Elyse’s automated chatbot advice will range from detoxifying the skin and mind to disconnecting from social media to focus on recharging the mind.

As part of the campaign, Skin Proud will donate 10% of online sales in May to the Sad Girls Club, founded by attorney Fox. The global charity spans 40 countries and aims to eliminate the stigma embedded in mental health, provide mental health services to those who don’t have access to therapy and treatment, and create space real that nurtures and builds so young people know they are not alone.
