The latest series featured a woman with a huge lipoma on her shoulder and a man with multiple cysts on his head.

As well as an unfiltered look at their surgery and treatment, the series reflects on how living with such skin conditions affects both patients’ quality of life and mental health.

If you, or someone you know, has a skin condition, the Boom team would love to hear from you.

Perhaps your condition is not eligible for treatment on the NHS, or your treatment has been delayed.

Have you been unable to find the right treatment for your skin condition? Or are you on a long waiting list for a referral to a dermatologist?

The series is filmed at UKSKIN in Birmingham and applicants must be willing to speak openly and candidly about their condition and be available for filming for one day between November 2021 and January 2022.

All applicants must be legal residents of the UK, currently living in the UK and aged 18 or over.

For more information and to complete an application form, email the production company at [email protected]

The deadline for applications is Friday, December 17, 2021.

A spokesperson for the show added: “We welcome applications from all sections of the community.

“Boom will treat your information in accordance with its privacy policy. Applicants should be aware that due to the high volume of responses, we cannot guarantee everyone will be answered.”
