“I really customized and put together a regimen to calm and hydrate her skin without causing irritation. Clients only visit her about once a month, but their at-home skin routines and “regularity” are important.

“There’s a lot of misinformation out there and a lot in the market,” says Ingrid.

‘You can end up throwing a lot of money [on a product] and you don’t know what you’re spending.

“Serums are where you invest your money. I don’t think you need to spend a lot on a cleanser, as long as it’s balanced with your skin’s PH levels, is natural, and does not contain parabens, you can get by with an inexpensive cleanser and moisturizer.

Ingrid recommends skincare enthusiasts invest in products containing retinol or vitamin A and vitamin C for a glowing complexion.

“It comes in different forms and the formulas of various serums and the money invested in the formulations makes a big difference in the quality of the product,” she says.

“And a good FPS is a given.”
